Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment

This letter serves to confirm that LSC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (PTY) LTD (incorporating the brands LSC, HSC, Foundation and LSC Fire & Risk Solutions), is wholly owned by IMPERIAL Logistics. IMPERIAL Logistics contracts NERA (National Empowerment Rating Agency) to perform an independent broad based black economic empowerment (BBBEE) rating annually.

We are very pleased to announce that our rating has improved from a Level 4 to that of a Level 3. In addition we have retained our Value Adding status, enabling our clients to recognise 137.5% of their procurement spend with LSC (or any of its divisions) as qualifying BBBEE spend, in terms of the Preferential Procurement element of their scorecard.

The 137.5% mentioned above is due to a combination of our Level 3 rating and our Value Adding Enterprise status. Without getting too technical; the Level 3 rating gives us a procurement recognition level of 110%. The Codes however provide for a company/client, when measuring their procurement spend, to multiply the spend with a Value Adding Enterprise by a factor of 1.25, thus arriving at the 137.5% enhanced recognition level.

Our rating has also been confirmed by the Department of Trade and Industry and is available through the dti's B-BBEE portal (http://bee.thedti.gov.za/). Our Unique Reference Number (URN) is BEE7982842.
